SHINee makes their anticipated return with their 6th EP ‘Atmos’

One of K-pop’s most influential acts, SHINee has made their comeback with the mini-album ‘Atmos.’

With ‘Atmos,’ SHINee returns to the sleek and sophisticated sound that has long set them apart, while continuing to showcase their musical evolution and versatility across genres. Across six tracks, the group blends electronic pop, funk, R&B, and dance influences into a cohesive project that feels both distinctly SHINee and refreshingly new.

The project features the title track of the same name, an electronic house dance track driven by glitchy synths, rhythmic bass, and a constantly shifting arrangement. Dreamy yet refreshing, the song captures the freeing feeling of being with the person you love — as if floating through the air.

The lyrics delicately explore the new emotions and heightened senses that come with a love that feels complete. The music video follows each member’s individual journey as their stories gradually connect, showing how they influence one another and ultimately move forward together.

The mini-album, which marks SHINee’s sixth one, features the B-sides “HOURS,” “Possibility,” “Anti Believer,” “Still Raining,” and “Thousand Miles Away.”

Ahead of the release, SHINee held their eighth solo concert, “- The Trilogy I - 2026 SHINee WORLD VIII : [THE INVERT],” on May 29–31 at KSPO DOME in Seoul’s Olympic Park. During the three-night run, the group premiered all six tracks from Atmos, including the title track, giving fans a first live look at their new musical chapter.
