Former OnlyOneOf member Lee Yong Soo to make his musical debut in 'Sunny Ten'

Former OnlyOneOf member Lee Yong Soo is embarking on a new chapter in his career, making his debut as a musical actor.

According to a report on July 2, Lee Yong Soo has been cast in the musical 'Sunny Ten,' which is set to open on July 7 at the JTN Art Hall 1 in Daehangno. This marks his first official foray into musical theater, where he will leverage the stage experience he gained during his time as an idol.

'Sunny Ten' is a beloved retro jukebox musical that reinterprets popular hit songs with a fresh sensibility. The show, now in its 15th season, has consistently captivated audiences with its cross-generational music, lighthearted plot, and distinctive characters.

In the production, Lee Yong Soo will take on the role of Junho, a broadcast station PD. His character is described as a bright and humane individual who frequently finds himself in unexpected situations, adding a lively energy to the story. This role will allow him to showcase a more approachable charm, different from the charismatic image he presented during his group activities.

Lee Yong Soo debuted with OnlyOneOf in 2019 and was recognized for his powerful performances and stable stage presence. His new challenge in 'Sunny Ten' will see him combine both singing and acting, and is expected to display his broadened artistic spectrum.
