The teaser has finally been released. SBS’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out on You' is gearing up for its premiere next month.

Set to air its first episode on April 22, the series is gradually lifting the veil. On March 25, the first teaser video was unveiled, drawing attention to the show’s “seasonal romance” concept.

'Sold Out on You' tells the story of perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee (aka “Quail”) and top-selling home shopping host Dam Ye Jin, whose lives become intertwined day and night. The drama promises a refreshing romance centered on two “always sold-out” individuals navigating both their careers and personal lives. The cast includes Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Won Bin, and Kim Bum.

Ahn Hyo Seop plays Matthew Lee, a young farmer better known by his rustic nickname “Quail.” Despite his tough exterior and soft interior charm, he leads a busy life running errands for village elders. He is also the only person in the world cultivating the rare white flower nuri mushroom, hailed as a miracle cosmetic ingredient, and holds dual titles as the head of a natural ingredient company and a cosmetics research developer.

Chae Won Bin takes on the role of Dam Ye Jin, a star home shopping host who has achieved cumulative sales of 1 trillion KRW. A top-tier ace and a workaholic, she faces a major opportunity: securing a prime weekend broadcast slot if she can persuade Matthew Lee, the sole grower of a key cosmetic ingredient, to collaborate. Determined to break through his stubborn defenses, she goes all in.

Kim Bum plays Seo Eric, the executive director of global skincare brand L’Étoile. After crossing paths with Dam Ye Jin in Korea, he finds himself drawn to her, forming another axis of the drama’s romantic storyline. As he becomes her business partner, viewers are left wondering whether his pursuit of love will succeed.

The first teaser opens with a sweet, almost couple-like moment between Matthew Lee and Dam Ye Jin, exchanging affectionate gazes that spark excitement. Their easy laughter and budding chemistry create a heart-fluttering atmosphere.

However, contrary to their seemingly happy present, their first meeting was far from pleasant. With the caption, “A perfectionist triple-job farmer meets a sell-out-obsessed host,” the teaser shows the two glaring at each other, hinting at a rocky start.

They even avoid calling each other by name, resorting to the stiff address “Excuse me” while engaging in subtle tension. Matthew Lee keeps his distance, refusing Dam Ye Jin’s handshake and consistently turning down her requests, leaving her flustered.

Despite their initial friction, the teaser reveals a gradual shift as they begin to understand each other. Sharing a common trait of giving their all in everything they do, they slowly come to empathize with one another.

Matthew Lee’s line, “Let’s see each other every day,” hints at a change in his feelings. Dam Ye Jin, in turn, embraces him tightly and promises to stand by his side, raising anticipation for their bickering-turned-romantic relationship.

Seo Eric’s presence also adds intrigue. He approaches Dam Ye Jin first and engages her in conversation in front of Matthew Lee, creating subtle tension and introducing a new variable into the central relationship.

Prospective viewers have responded positively online, leaving comments such as “Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin look great together,” “This is so heart-fluttering,” “I’m excited for this rom-com,” and “I want to watch this every day.”

As the story follows the journey of Matthew Lee and Dam Ye Jin learning to understand and change through each other, anticipation is building over what kind of romance will unfold.

'Sold Out on You' premieres on April 22 at 9 PM.
