Ahead of its world premiere, the production team attended an official photocall on May 15 (Korean time), greeting international media in 'Cannes.' The cast including Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, Ji Chang Wook, Shin Hyun Been, and Kim Shin Rok joined director Yeon to meet global press for the first time as a team at the festival.
Unlike the formal atmosphere of the red carpet, the photocall carried a relaxed and natural tone. The actors appeared in semi-formal outfits, each highlighting their individual style while maintaining a unified group presence. Although many of them are attending 'Cannes' for the first time as part of a film team, they displayed confidence and composure throughout the event.

The world premiere is scheduled for 12:30 a.m. local time (7:30 a.m. KST) in the Midnight Screening section, marking the film’s first official unveiling to global audiences.
Following the photocall, director Yeon Sang Ho and the cast are expected to appear on the iconic 'Cannes red carpet,' one of the most prestigious stages in global cinema. Attention is now turning to their upcoming appearance and early international reactions to the film.
Ahead of its festival premiere, 'Colony' has already achieved strong international interest, with pre-sales secured in 124 countries. The film is set for domestic release on the 21st following its 'Cannes' debut.
