BewhY returns after 7 years with “SOUTHSIDE FREESTYLE” MV

Rapper BewhY officially returned with his new single “SOUTHSIDE FREESTYLE,” released at 6 PM (KST) on May 8 across major online music platforms, alongside its accompanying music video.

The track is a pre-release from his upcoming third studio album 'POP IS CRYIN’,' scheduled for release on May 29. It acts as an introduction to the project, which has been highly anticipated by fans following a long period without a full-length album.

The music video for “SOUTHSIDE FREESTYLE” showcases European city settings, highlighting BewhY’s signature freestyle rap style against visually striking urban backdrops. The concept emphasizes a freer and more experimental artistic direction.

This marks his first full-album project in seven years, following his second studio album 'The Movie Star' released in 2019. During his hiatus, BewhY is understood to have spent time reflecting and redefining his musical identity, which is reflected in this new release.
