AOA ChoA speaks against plastic surgery rumors, shows mature look in latest update

ChoA formerly of AOA, shared a glimpse of her relaxed daily life while traveling in China, drawing attention for her noticeably more mature and refined look.

On May 18, ChoA uploaded several photos to her social media account with the short caption, “2026.5.17. Nanjing.”

In the photos, the singer appeared to be enjoying a peaceful trip in Nanjing. She posed inside what looked like a luxury hotel lounge and enjoyed various dishes while spending leisurely time abroad.

What especially caught fans’ attention was her transformed image. Known during her idol days for her signature blonde hairstyle, ChoA appeared with long, naturally styled dark hair, showcasing a calmer and more sophisticated charm. Her relaxed smile and comfortable aura further highlighted her matured beauty.

Fans reacted warmly in the comments, saying, “Welcome to China,” “I missed you,” and “You look more beautiful than ever.”

ChoA debuted with AOA in 2012 and gained popularity through hit songs such as Miniskirt, Heart Attack, and Like a Cat. She later announced her departure from the group in 2017 and temporarily stepped away from the entertainment industry.

Last year, ChoA also addressed rumors surrounding alleged cosmetic surgery and other speculation. Speaking on a broadcast program, she expressed frustration, saying that after taking a break from activities, various rumors began spreading and eventually started being treated as facts.

She added that some claims had gone too far, revealing that she had recently consulted lawyers over certain issues and describing the past year as particularly difficult and eventful.
