Musical theatre couple Kim Hwan Hee and Choi Min Woo to marry in May

Musical theatre actors Kim Hwan Hee and Choi Min Woo are set to tie the knot this month.

The couple personally announced their marriage through their respective social media accounts on May 14. Their wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 18.

Choi Min Woo shared his thoughts on the announcement, saying, “I met the partner with whom I will spend my life on what felt like the most fairytale-like stage. I understand this sudden news may come as a surprise, but I would be grateful for your warm support as I begin the second act of my life.”

Kim Hwan Hee also expressed her feelings, stating, “I became certain that if I spend my life with this person, even worries would turn into a joyful journey. I would be happiest if you could bless our new beginning and celebrate it with us.”

Kim Hwan Hee, born in 1991, and Choi Min Woo, born in 1992, are a one-year-age-gap couple who reportedly first met at 'Disney in Concert: Beyond the Magic.'

Choi Min Woo made his debut through the musical 'Les Misérables – The Story of Two Men' and has since appeared in productions including 'Love Comes by the Rain,' 'Edgar Allan Poe,' and 'Myeongdong Romance.'

Kim Hwan Hee has built a strong reputation in the musical scene with performances in 'Kinky Boots,' 'Four Minutes,' 'Hadestown,' and 'Jekyll and Hyde.'
