Stray Kids release heartfelt anniversary single “별, 빛 (STAY)” to celebrate 8 years with fans

Stray Kids have officially released their special digital single “별, 빛 (STAY)” on March 25, 2026, commemorating their 8th debut anniversary

Marking eight years since their debut, the group once again expressed their unwavering bond with fans through their iconic message, “STRAY KIDS EVERYWHERE ALL AROUND THE WORLD YOU MAKE STRAY KIDS STAY,” delivering the new track as a heartfelt gift to STAY, who have supported them throughout their journey from rising rookies to global top artists.

“별, 빛 (STAY)” is a warm ballad built on soft band instrumentation, blending gentle guitar and piano melodies to create a lingering emotional atmosphere. The song tells the story of walking side by side under the same sky, relying on one another, and finding hope for tomorrow through togetherness.

The lyrics draw on imagery of the universe and stars to symbolize this connection, featuring touching lines such as “Even if I become a star shrouded in darkness, will you stay by my side? Then I will become the universe that embraces you,” and “The reason is because it’s you and me.” These metaphors paint a picture of constant companionship, delivering a deeply emotional message.

Adding to its significance, members Han and Seungmin wrote and participated in composing the track, while the single’s cover art also carries symbolic meaning, inspired by Stray Kids’ official light stick, Nachimbong, representing how Stray Kids and STAY guide one another. The members further personalized the design by incorporating stars illustrated in their own unique styles.

With “별, 빛 (STAY),” Stray Kids deliver a touching tribute to their fandom, promising to continue shining together as they look ahead to the future.
