Jun Ji Hyun joins PD Na Young Seok’s YouTube ahead of ‘Colony’ release

Jun Ji Hyun made a surprise appearance on producer Na Young Seok’s YouTube channel ahead of her upcoming film release.

On May 6, the YouTube channel 'Channel Fullmoon' released a preview video titled “(Friday Preview) Found it! My zombie gem, Jun Ji hyun.”

The video featured director Yeon Sang Ho alongside cast members Koo Kyo Hwan, Ji Chang Wook, Shin Hyun Been, and Kim Shin Rok from the upcoming movie “Colony.”

During the conversation, Yeon Sang ho recalled filming 'Train to Busan', saying that stunt performers initially felt awkward about acting like zombies because they were more accustomed to stylish action scenes.

He added that there is no longer any embarrassment around zombie acting and that performers now compete over who can portray zombies better. Yeon Sang ho then revealed that Jun Ji hyun also showed enthusiasm for trying zombie acting herself.

Jun Ji hyun responded with laughter, explaining that she casually attempted zombie movements beside the director during filming. She said Yeon Sang ho suddenly looked at her “like he had discovered a hidden gem.”

The director jokingly replied, “Her legs are really long, right? When those long legs bent, she kind of looked like a water strider,” causing laughter on set. Jun Ji hyun added, “The director’s eyes suddenly lit up,” while laughing about the moment.

The cast will officially appear on “Na Young seok’s Wagle Wagle with Colony,” set to premiere on May 8 at 6 PM.

Meanwhile, “Colony” has been officially invited to the Midnight Screening section of the Cannes Film Festival and is scheduled for domestic release on May 21.
