EPEX to conclude ‘SoHwa’ series with final chapter
by Minsoo-Kim · allkpopEPEX is set to bring its long-running youth narrative series to a close.
The group (Wish, Mu, A-Min, Baekseung, Aiden, Yewang, Jeff) will release their seventh mini album, 'SoHwa (韶華) : Epilogue,' in June. The upcoming album marks the final chapter of their 'SoHwa' series, which began with their first full-length album 'Prelude of Youth' in April 2024 and continued through 'Youth Deficiency' and 'Romantic Youth.'
True to its name—meaning both “spring scenery” and “the prime of youth”—the series has explored transitional emotions between adolescence and adulthood, establishing EPEX’s distinct storytelling identity.
On April 29, the group revealed a poster announcing the comeback via official social media. The artwork, created by Russian illustrator Knysh Ksenya, combines imagery from previous albums into a single watercolor-style piece, leaving a subtle yet lasting impression.
EPEX has recently demonstrated their expanding musical range with tracks such as “Thank You So Much It Hurts” and their collaboration “so nice” with American duo joan. They also successfully completed their fan concert tour “ROMANTIC YOUTH” across Seoul, Tokyo, and Macau, further solidifying their global presence.
With “Epilogue,” EPEX is expected to deliver a meaningful conclusion to their coming-of-age storyline.
