Designer accuses BLACKPINK’s Jisoo team of not returning outfits
by Minsoo-Kim · allkpopJisoo has become embroiled in controversy after an overseas designer publicly claimed that outfits sent for a photoshoot related to the artist were never returned.
Judassime designer Benjamin Bortmans recently uploaded a video on social media alleging that he had sent clothing pieces to Korea for an album cover shoot involving Jisoo, but some of the items had still not been returned after several months.
The Judassime account also tagged Jisoo’s social media account in posts demanding the return of the items, further fueling online discussion.
Bortmans claimed, “Jisoo stole my belongings,” adding that six months had passed since he sent multiple fashion items to Jisoo and her Korean team for an album cover project.
According to the designer, the shoot date was repeatedly postponed, and he was told the team did not know what was happening. He said he responded by asking them to simply inform him once the items were returned, but claimed that no one has replied to him to this day.
He further stated that the missing pieces were important works from a previous collection and were highly valuable. Bortmans said he later sent invoices and contracts while considering legal action, but still received no response.
In a follow-up video, however, the designer clarified that he was not directly attacking Jisoo herself. He explained that he used her name publicly in hopes of finally receiving a response from someone involved in the team, noting that her name had appeared in the project-related emails.
At the same time, he maintained his criticism of the situation, saying that young designers invest significant time and effort into their work and that going six months without communication or respect was deeply frustrating.
As of now, neither Jisoo nor her agency has released an official statement regarding the allegations.
