by Alec06 · allkpopPark Bo Gum ranked No. 1 in Gallup Korea’s ‘Talents Who Shined in 2025,’ with IU following closely behind at No. 2 after their joint success in ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines.’
Research firm Gallup Korea conducted a nationwide survey (excluding Jeju) from November 11 to 28, asking 1,700 respondents aged 13 and older to name up to two talents who were most active this year (open-ended responses). The results were announced on the 17th. Park Bo Gum topped the list with 13.3 percent support, while IU placed second with 11.3 percent.
Park Bo Gum made his debut in the 2011 film ‘Blind’ and rose to prominence through roles such as genius baduk player Choi Taek in tvN’s ‘Reply 1988’ and Crown Prince Lee Yeong in KBS2’s ‘Love in the Moonlight.’ His popularity led to the so-called “Park Bo Gum syndrome,” and he previously ranked No. 1 in Gallup Korea’s ‘Talent of the Year’ in 2016. Though his number of projects has been relatively selective in recent years, he has continued to solidify his status as a leading actor by taking on diverse roles.
IU, who debuted in 2008, has balanced her career as both an actress and a singer-songwriter, appearing in dramas, films, and various broadcast programs. She previously ranked seventh in the 2019 survey following her role as Jang Man Wol in tvN’s ‘Hotel Del Luna.’ In ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines,’ she further expanded her acting range by portraying dual roles as both a mother and daughter.
Kim Ji Won ranked third with 4.4 percent support. Lim Yoon A, who starred in ‘The Tyrant’s Chef,’ placed fourth with 3.9 percent, while Choo Young Woo came in fifth with 3.3 percent following a busy year of multiple projects. Lee Jung Jae of ‘Squid Game’ ranked sixth with 3.1 percent. Namgoong Min, Han Ji Min, Byeon Woo Seok, and Kim Tae Ri tied for seventh place with 2.9 percent each.
