Son Na Eun’s absence reignites Apink feud rumors

Yoon Bomi of Apink tied the knot in a private ceremony, but fans expressed disappointment after Son Na Eun was the only member absent from the wedding.

The Apink vocalist held a private wedding ceremony with producer Rado on May 16 at Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan, Seoul. The couple reportedly dated for nine years after first becoming close through music collaborations in 2017.

The wedding featured congratulatory performances by Apink, as well as STAYC and UNCHILD, artists under High Up Entertainment where Rado works as a producer. Comedian Kim Ki Ri hosted the ceremony.

The friendship among the Apink members, who have spent 15 years together, also drew attention. Youngest member Oh Ha Young became emotional and shed tears while singing a congratulatory song, while the members were also seen warmly gathered in the bride’s waiting room. Former member Hong Yoo Kyung, who left the group in 2013, also attended the wedding to congratulate Yoon Bomi.

However, Son Na Eun, who left Apink in 2022 and has since focused on acting, was notably absent.

After her departure from the group, rumors of discord surfaced among fans. At the time, Son Na Eun addressed the speculation by saying, "I’m sad that I can’t participate in the 10th anniversary album promotions, but please continue to support and love the members."

Rumors resurfaced again last year when Son Na Eun was the only member absent from Oh Ha Young’s birthday gathering. Attention had since focused on whether she would attend Yoon Bomi’s wedding, but her absence once again reignited speculation of tension among the members.
