Cha Eun Woo, singer and actor, has recently drawn public attention after being spotted at a military band event, while also continuing to face scrutiny over past tax-related controversy.

On April 28, photos of Cha Eun Woo began circulating across online communities in South Korea, quickly gaining traction. The images were reportedly taken during a military band event held on April 23, where he appeared on stage in a neatly tailored suit, saluting with a composed and disciplined posture. Even among orchestra members, his polished visuals and calm presence stood out, capturing the attention of attendees and fans alike.

Fans reacted enthusiastically to the newly surfaced images, commenting on his appearance and demeanor. Reactions included remarks such as “He still shines even in the military band,” “His vibe feels slightly different,” and “He looks tired but still incredibly handsome,” reflecting continued strong public interest.

Previously, Cha Eun Woo was involved in controversy over alleged tax issues involving approximately 20 billion KRW (about 15 million USD) in questioned filings. The issue drew significant media attention and public debate at the time.

In response, he addressed the matter directly through social media, stating that he respected the procedures and findings of the National Tax Service and had fully paid the related taxes to prevent further confusion. He also issued a formal apology, expressing regret for the concern and disappointment caused by the situation.

His agency later explained that the case involved differing interpretations during the legal and accounting review process. Public opinion, however, remained divided while some praised his cooperation and accountability, others continued to express criticism.

Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo continues his career as a member of ASTRO and as an actor. He is also preparing for his upcoming project, the drama 'The WONDERfools,' which is scheduled for release on May 15.
