DAY6’s Wonpil sells out all shows of upcoming solo concert

Wonpil of DAY6 has demonstrated his strong ticket power by selling out all shows of his upcoming solo concert during fan club presale.

Wonpil will hold his solo concert ‘WONPIL SOLO CONCERT Unpiltered’ from May 1 to 3 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium. Tickets for the three day event were made available on April 6 through an exclusive presale for the official fan club My Day (6th generation), with all seats across all three shows selling out immediately after opening.

The concert marks Wonpil’s return to a solo stage approximately four years and two months after his first solo concert ‘Pilmography’ in March 2022, heightening anticipation among fans. Known for his warm tone and heartfelt sensibility, Wonpil is expected to share sincere stories and emotions through music during the performances.

Earlier this year, on March 30, Wonpil released his first mini album ‘Unpiltered’ along with the title track ‘Love Ward.’ All seven tracks on the album, including ‘Toxic Love,’ ‘Becoming an Adult,’ ‘Up All Night,’ ‘Step by Step,’ ‘Not a Million Roses,’ and ‘Piano,’ were written and composed by Wonpil himself.

The album achieved notable success, with all tracks entering Melon’s Top 100 chart on the day of release. It also topped the Circle Chart weekly retail album chart for the period of March 29 to April 4, further solidifying Wonpil’s position as a “sentimental singer songwriter.”
