Byun Yo Han shares heartfelt thoughts on marriage to Tiffany Young ahead of Netflix film ‘Pavane’

Actor Byun Yo Han has personally shared his thoughts as he prepares for marriage to Tiffany Young.

On February 12, Byun Yo Han attended the production press conference for the upcoming Netflix film 'Pavane,' held at Megabox COEX in Seoul’s Gangnam District. During the event, he responded to a question about his upcoming marriage to Tiffany Young.

“With that in mind, that’s one more reason to watch Pavane,” he said playfully. “I hope viewers around the world can experience what it means to receive love, give love, and truly understand love through this film.” He added, “Thank you for the question about my marriage. As much as you’ve shown your support, I’ll do my best to live well.”

Wrapping up the event, he further reflected, “Love is something that cannot be explained even by science, and it exists everywhere like oxygen. I believe a film like that has been born. I hope you’ll meet and truly love 'Pavane'. Love.”

Byun Yo Han and Tiffany Young publicly confirmed their relationship in December of last year. The two reportedly grew close while working together on the Disney+ series Uncle Samsik. They are currently in a serious relationship with marriage in mind, and reports have also suggested they are planning to hold their wedding next fall.

At the time, Byun Yo Han’s agency, TeamHope, stated, “The two actors are currently in a serious relationship with marriage in mind. While no specific schedule has been finalized yet, both hope to share the news with fans first once details are confirmed.”

Tiffany Young also released a statement, saying, “I am currently in a serious relationship with someone with marriage in mind.” She described him as “a person who allows me to see the world with positivity and hope, and who gives me a sense of stability.”

Meanwhile, 'Pavane' tells the story of three individuals who had closed off their hearts but became a light to one another, ultimately confronting life and love together. The film is based on author Park Min Gyu’s novel 'Pavane for a Dead Princess.' Go Ah Sung plays Mi Jung, a woman who hides from society’s uncomfortable gaze; Byun Yo Han portrays Yo Han, a free-spirited lover of rock music; and Moon Sang Min takes on the role of Kyung Rok, a young man who gave up his dream of becoming a dancer to face reality.

Yo Han is characterized by his bleached yellow hair and free spirit shaped by his love of rock music. Though he works as a department store parking attendant, his carefree demeanor has sparked rumors that he is actually the store owner’s son. Despite his easygoing approach in boldly befriending Kyung Rok upon their first meeting, he also reveals a contrasting side, quietly savoring solitude alone at a pub.

'Pavane' premieres on Netflix on February 20.
