Shin Hye Sun and Gong Myung showcase electric chemistry in new romance drama 'Filing for Love'

Actress Shin Hye Sun and Gong Myung are set to display close-knit on-screen chemistry.

On April 3, the production team of tvN’s upcoming weekend drama 'Filing for Love' (written by Yeo Eun Ho, directed by Lee Soo Hyun) unveiled still cuts featuring the two actors, offering a glimpse into their corporate audit storyline.

Shin Hye Sun takes on the role of Joo In Ah, the head of the audit team and a principled figure who earned the title of the youngest female executive. She allows no room for error when it comes to work.

Gong Myung plays Noh Ki Joon, the ace of the audit office. Blessed with both intelligence and striking visuals, he has led a smooth life until he is suddenly demoted to Audit Team 3 overnight.

The released photos capture the duo in action as an “ace duo.” Joo In Ah dominates the scene with her unwavering gaze and charisma, while Ki Joon appears flustered in unexpected situations.

The two are also seen carrying out a clumsy stakeout operation. Though Ki Joon declares his intent to “take down In Ah,” he ends up falling for her instead, hinting at a dynamic relationship shift that adds to the romance.

Gong Myung shared, “I was amazed by Shin Hye Sun’s ability to embody her character fully. Our acting chemistry was great, and the moments we made eye contact while acting were exciting.”

Shin Hye Sun also expressed her trust, saying, “Gong Myung is sincere and diligent. Thanks to him, I was able to act comfortably on set.”

'Filing for Love' is a romance drama that follows Joo In Ah, an audit team leader with a hidden secret, and Noh Ki Joon, a top auditor demoted to handling misconduct cases.

The series is directed by Lee Soo Hyun, known for works such as 'My Dearest Nemesis' and 'Delightfully Deceitful,' and written by Yeo Eun Ho, who previously penned 'Crash Course in Romance.'

Filing for Love is set to premiere on April 25 at 9:10 PM.
