Dayoung talks about using body makeup during WJSN days “I finished a foam cleanser every two weeks”

Dayoung shared surprising behind-the-scenes details about her past styling routines during her time promoting with WJSN (Cosmic Girls).

On May 23, MBC’s variety program 'Point of Omniscient Interfere' featured Dayoung alongside actress Lee Jooyeon. During the broadcast, comedian Yang Se Hyung commented that Dayoung looked like a foreigner. She quickly responded with humor, saying, “I’m from Jeju. I can’t speak English,” which made everyone laugh.

The MCs also said she looked like she had been tanning. Comedian Hong Hyun Hee even asked whether she regularly visits tanning shops.

Dayoung explained that her skin tone is natural. She also revealed that during her WJSN promotions, she had to apply makeup not only on her face but also on her body.

“I thought people assumed I was tanned, but it is my natural skin tone,” she said. “When I was active with WJSN, I even applied makeup on my body. I used a much brighter foundation shade, number 3.”

She added a humorous detail about how intense the routine was, saying, “I used to finish a foam cleanser every two weeks because I had to cleanse my entire body. Compared to then, things are much more comfortable now,” she said with a laugh.
