Jo Kwon builds buzz for comeback as Gain, Soyeon, and g.o.d praise ‘Like I Do’

Singer Jo Kwon is set to make his return with a new song for the first time in eight years.

Ahead of the release of his single ‘Like I Do’ on March 27, reactions from fellow celebrities who participated in a pre listening session have been revealed, raising anticipation for his comeback.

His agency Archive Achim has been releasing listening reaction content from various artists through official social media and YouTube.

The content features a lineup of stars with close ties to Jo Kwon, drawing attention. In particular, Gain, who was loved alongside Jo Kwon as the “Adam couple,” garnered buzz with her reaction.

Gain commented, “It doesn’t sound like Jo Kwon’s voice. The style has completely changed, and it’s so cool,” adding, “As the song goes on, it has a hip vibe I’ve never heard before, which surprised me.” She also showed her playful support, saying, “Honey, fighting. It’s your first release in eight years, so it’s going to be a hit.”

Members of g.o.d also reacted enthusiastically. Park Joon Hyung expressed his excitement by dancing along to the track, while Son Ho Young praised the song, saying, “Is this really Jo Kwon? It’s totally pop. I want a song like this too.”
