The Boyz's New, CRAVITY's Woobin, and N.Flying's Hwe Seung to star as Romeo in musical 'Romeo & Juliet'

The Boyz's New, N.Flying's Hwe Seung, and CRAVITY's Woobin are set to take the stage in a revival of the French musical 'Romeo & Juliet.'

Based on William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy of the same name, 'Romeo & Juliet' is regarded as one of France’s three major musicals, having attracted more than 5 million theatergoers across Europe. The production premiered in Paris in 2001.

On December 26, the production company unveiled its cast lineup, confirming Woobin in the lead role of Romeo. The character is a young man who falls into a fateful love with Juliet and ultimately sacrifices his life for her.

A musical official commented, “Woobin stands out with his clear, refreshing voice,” highlighting his strengths as CRAVITY’s main vocalist. He has demonstrated versatility across a wide range of genres, from ballads to pop.

The three performers are expected to present distinct interpretations of the iconic character, raising anticipation for the production.
