Young K unveils mysterious teaser for second solo full-length album 'YOUNGEST'

DAY6's Young K is set to tell a new story as a solo artist.

Young K will release his second full-length solo album, 'YOUNGEST,' on July 27. The album marks his first solo comeback in approximately two years and 10 months. On July 7, he heightened anticipation by unveiling the album's concept film.

The teaser opens with the phrase "THE YOUNGEST SHOW." Throughout the video, Young K appears to be taking part in an interview while carrying a subtle sense of tension. As multiple doors repeatedly open and close, the clip creates an eerie, mysterious atmosphere.

In the film, Young K comes face-to-face with another version of himself before breaking into a faint smile. The teaser concludes with the message, "NOT GONNA LET ANYONE HURT ME ANYMORE," hinting at the emotional narrative that will unfold throughout the album.

Young K debuted as a member of DAY6 in 2015 and has established himself as one of K-pop's most respected singer-songwriters. He participated in writing and composing many of the band's signature hits, including "Congratulations," "You Were Beautiful," and "Time of Our Life."

Beyond his group activities, he has remained active across various fields, appearing on entertainment programs, singing drama OSTs, and running his own YouTube channel. 'YOUNGEST' marks his return as a solo musician following the release of his first full-length album, Letters with Notes, in September 2023.

Meanwhile, Young K's second full-length album, 'YOUNGEST,' will be released on major music streaming platforms at 6:00 PM KST on July 27.
