On the March 22 broadcast of MBC’s ‘Manitto Club’, episode 8 featured Jung Hae In, Go Yoon Jung, Park Myung Soo, Hong Jin Kyung, Kim Do Hoon, and chef Yoon Nam No visiting the Bucheon Fire Station as part of their “secret manitto” mission, along with the start of new activities for the show’s third generation members.
During the episode, the cast opened a special late night pop up kitchen for firefighters. Despite being overwhelmed by a surge of orders, the team gradually found their rhythm under the leadership of chef Yoon Nam No and successfully prepared a full course meal.
The firefighters responded enthusiastically, saying, “This is beyond a late night snack” and “Satisfaction is 1000%.” Even amid the tension of emergency dispatch calls, the members prepared meals for a total of 34 people, or 35 servings including refills, creating a meaningful experience.
At the same time, the third generation manitto activities featuring Cha Tae Hyun, Park Bo Young, Lee Sun Bin, Hwang Kwang Hee, and Kang Hoon officially began. Each member prepared thoughtful gifts and messages of support for their assigned manitto.
Park Bo Young showed particular excitement after confirming that her manitto was Cha Tae Hyun, saying, “He’s my dad from ‘Scandal Makers,’” recalling their past project together and expressing her affection.
To support Cha Tae Hyun, who recently established a new agency, Park Bo Young reached out to co CEO Jo In Sung for advice. After careful consideration, she chose a mother of pearl seal stamp as her first gift, adding a personal touch.
During the process, a warm story about Cha Tae Hyun was also shared. Park Bo Young revealed that during the filming of ‘Scandal Makers,’ he had gifted her a red luxury wallet with money inside.
The episode recorded a 2.6% viewership rating in the Seoul metropolitan area, marking a new personal best for the show.
