Rescene hits #1 on Melon TOP100 with 'Love Attack', members react with tearful live stream

Rookie girl group RESCENE has hit number one, with their song 'Love Attack' reaching the top of the Melon TOP100 chart.

According to chart data from July 8 at 10 p.m. KST, 'Love Attack' claimed the top spot. The group also placed three more songs in the Top 100: 'Pretty Girl' at #6, 'Deja Vu' at #24, and 'Runaway' at #34.

To celebrate with their fans, known as REMIND, the members held a surprise live broadcast. They appeared in casual clothes, saying they had been asleep when they heard the news. "We didn't plan to greet you all wearing hats like this, but the news of hitting number one was so sudden," they said. "We were sleeping because we have a schedule soon, but we rushed over when we heard we got first place."

The members teared up. "No matter how I think about it, this feels like a dream. It doesn't feel real," they said. "This is all thanks to REMIND. These are tears of happiness. Thank you so much for listening to our songs."

RESCENE debuted in March 2024 with their first single album 'Re:Scene' and title track 'UhUh.' 'Love Attack,' released in August 2024, has climbed steadily, seeing a resurgence after content from member Woni's YouTube channel went viral earlier this year.
