by Minsoo-Kim · allkpopNCT WISH will resume activities in Korea after seven months.
According to reports on March 17th KST, the six member group Sion, Yushi, Riku, Sakuya, Ryo, and Jaehee will release their first full length album on April 20.
Consisting of two Korean members and four Japanese members, NCT WISH has rapidly gained popularity in both Korea and Japan within two years of debut. Their second mini album 'poppop' surpassed 1.08 million first week sales, becoming the group’s first million seller, while their third mini album 'Color' set a new personal record with over 1.395 million copies sold in its first week.
The group has also demonstrated strong ticket power. Their first tour encore concerts scheduled for April 17 to 19 at KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park sold out entirely during fan club presales. In Japan, they also sold out a hall and arena tour covering nine cities and 17 shows, further solidifying their global presence.
Debuting in February 2024 under SM Entertainment, NCT WISH is the final sub unit of the NCT brand. Unlike the powerful style often associated with earlier NCT units, the group has built its own identity with bright, refreshing, and youthful music that appeals to global K pop fans.
