MW Entertainment announces Yeowon’s departure from USPEER following hiatus

On May 6, MW Entertainment officially announced that Yeowon will be concluding her activities as a member of USPEER, following a hiatus that began in the second half of 2025.

In a formal statement released to fans, the company expressed its gratitude for the continued support shown toward USPEER and Yeowon. According to the announcement, Yeowon had taken an extended period of rest and recovery since September 2025. During this time, both the artist and the agency engaged in in-depth discussions regarding her future activities and career direction.

After careful consideration and mutual agreement, it was decided that Yeowon would officially wrap up her team activities with USPEER.

MW Entertainment acknowledged the sudden nature of the news and apologized to fans for any concern it may cause. Despite her departure from the group, the company emphasized its continued support for Yeowon’s future endeavors.

“We sincerely thank fans for the love and support they have shown Yeowon,” the statement read. “We ask that you continue to support both her new beginning and USPEER’s ongoing activities.” The announcement marks the end of Yeowon’s chapter with USPEER, while leaving open the possibility of new opportunities ahead for the artist.
