Son Na Eun addresses why she was absent from Apink Bomi's wedding

Actress Son Na Eun has revealed the reason she was unable to attend Apink member Yoon Bomi's wedding.

During an interview on July 29 following the conclusion of the successful SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated,' Son Na Eun was asked about her absence from Bomi's wedding and explained the circumstances.

She said, "We were in the final stages of filming the drama, and I also had overlapping schedules, so I couldn't attend the wedding."

She continued, "Apink is a precious team with whom I spent my teens and twenties. Whenever something good happens to the members, I sincerely want to congratulate them, and my support for them as a fan has never changed."

Son Na Eun also spoke candidly about her current mindset as a full-time actress.

She shared, "Being a former idol is a valuable part of my journey that made me who I am today, and I'm grateful for it. At the same time, I believe it's my responsibility to continue working hard and show an even better side of myself as an actress."

In May of this year, Bomi married composer Rado in a private ceremony held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan, Seoul. Fellow Apink members Chorong, Eunji, Namjoo, and Hayoung, along with former member Hong Yoo Kyung, who left the group in 2013, attended the wedding. Son Na Eun was notably absent, leading fans to speculate about the reason.

Since leaving the group, Son Na Eun has also been the subject of repeated rumors suggesting conflict with the other members. In 2022, when she was unable to participate in Apink's 10th debut anniversary promotions, she personally addressed the speculation, saying, "I'm disappointed that I couldn't participate in the 10th anniversary album promotions, but I hope you'll continue to give the group lots of love and support the members."

Questions resurfaced last year when she was the only member absent from Hayoung's birthday gathering. Her absence from Bomi's wedding further fueled the speculation, but Son Na Eun has now directly addressed the matter, citing scheduling conflicts.
