Tiffany Young opens up about newlywed life with Byun Yo Han “We eat late-night snacks every night”

Tiffany Young shared a glimpse into her newlywed life with husband Byun Yo Han.

On May 15, Tiffany Young appeared as a guest on KBS Cool FM’s radio program 'Paul Kim's Gayo Plaza,' where she talked about her daily life and upcoming projects. The singer-actress, who recently married Byun Yo Han, revealed that the couple enjoys indulging in late-night snacks together almost every evening.

Tiffany Young is currently preparing for the upcoming musical 'Yumi's Cells' and explained how deeply she has immersed herself in the character. “There are about 500 episodes of the original webtoon, and I’m already past episode 300,” she said. “Without even realizing it, I’ve been wearing striped clothes every day and ordering tteokbokki, churros, and strawberry cream-filled fish-shaped buns every night. I feel like my synchronization with Yumi is getting closer and closer.”

She also shared that she has been studying the unique expressions of the character in detail. “I’ve been trying to imitate Yumi’s eye movements,” Tiffany explained. “If you look at the webtoon, creator Lee Dong Gun carefully designed the size and direction of the eyes. I want to recreate those expressions because the position of the pupils changes depending on the sound or emotion. I think setting the eyes correctly can even help me find the right vocal tone and texture while singing.”

Expressing her passion for the role, she added, “I’m the type of person who dives deeply into every detail, so I really want to become the best Yumi possible.”

Tiffany Young and Byun Yo Han reportedly became close after starring in the Disney+ series 'Uncle Samsik,' which was released in May 2024. The couple later confirmed they were dating with marriage in mind, and officially announced their marriage registration in February this year.

Meanwhile, Tiffany Young celebrated the 10th anniversary of her solo debut last year by releasing a full-length album. She is set to return to the stage this June in the musical 'Yumi's Cells,' which follows the everyday life and romance of office worker Yumi from the perspective of the “cells” in her mind.

The musical will open on June 30 and run through August 23 at CJ Towol Theater.
