Red Velvet will perform their new title track "Surfin' Boy" for the first time at their upcoming fan concert, ahead of the song's official release.

'2026 Red Velvet FAN-CON 'A Day in Red & Velvet'' takes place from July 31 to August 2 at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul, with all three shows sold out. The final day will be streamed live worldwide through Beyond LIVE.

On August 3, Red Velvet will release their summer mini album 'Velvet Summer,' led by "Surfin' Boy." The dance track blends bossa nova guitar, a laid-back reggae rhythm, and house groove, with member Joy writing the lyrics about cherished summer memories with a loved one. The choreography pairs the chorus with the Hawaiian 'shaka' hand sign and wave-like movements.

On release day, the group will also hold a countdown live on their official YouTube and TikTok channels at 5 PM KST.

'Velvet Summer' marks Red Velvet's first full-group comeback since "Cosmic" in June 2024.
