Billlie unveils dark charisma in ‘ZAP’ MV teaser

Billlie has heightened anticipation for their comeback with a powerful display of dark charisma.

On May 5 KST, Billlie released the second music video teaser for “ZAP,” the title track of their first full-length album ‘the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two,’ through their official YouTube channel.

The teaser captivates with its fast-paced editing and artistic mise-en-scène, featuring red powder scattering across the members as they move freely, creating a visually striking and almost cinematic atmosphere.

Billlie’s bold visual transformation is further amplified by vivid graphics, emphasizing each member’s unique take on “dark charisma.” Their intense gazes and commanding presence reflect the group’s strong determination for this release.

A snippet of the track and lyrics was also revealed, with the addictive line “we’re coming ZAP / I’m on that ZAP” paired with sharp, synchronized choreography, raising excitement for the full song.

“ZAP,” meaning a sudden jolt or impact, conveys the idea of blocking out overwhelming noise and gossip to return to one’s true self. The track combines impactful rap, sharp rhymes, daring vocals, and energetic chorus elements to express an unwavering identity.

‘the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two’ marks Billlie’s first full-length album since debut, featuring a total of 12 tracks spanning genres from industrial hip-hop to hybrid sounds. Through strong storytelling and diverse musical styles, the group aims to expand its unique “Billlie Universe” and solidify its distinctive presence in the K-pop scene.

The album is set to be released on May 6 at 6 PM across major music platforms.
