Park Min Young talks about a hilarious kiss scene with Wi Ha Joon, a kiss scene rookie

On March 4, singer ZO ZAZZ uploaded a new video on his YouTube channel. The episode featured drama 'Siren's Kiss' stars Park Min Young, Wi Ha Joon, and Kim Jung Hyun as guests, where they talked about various stories related to the series.
When asked about his experience working on the project, Wi Ha Joon said, “I’m not really the type to read scripts thoroughly, but I ended up reading this one right away. The character was very appealing.” Park Min Young praised him in response, saying, “He fits the role really well. He also handles the action scenes great.”
The conversation naturally shifted to the drama’s romance scenes. Park Min Young said, “Wi Ha Joon told me he hasn’t done many romance projects. He said the kiss scene was only his second or third.” She added with a laugh, “I’ve done a lot of romance dramas, so if it’s only your third time, that’s basically a newborn. I teased him, saying he was a ‘kiss newborn.’”
However, once filming began, things turned out differently. Park Min Young recalled, “When the cameras started rolling, he practically devoured my lips. The scene required me to look flustered, and I was genuinely flustered.” She joked, “How can someone do a kiss scene like that after only three tries? At that level, it’s basically suction.”
When ZO ZAZZ playfully suggested that Wi Ha Joon might have studied on YouTube beforehand, Park Min Young continued the joke, saying, “Ha Joon has full lips and a pretty big mouth. You’ll see if you watch it. For a moment, my lips were practically sucked toward my cheek,” drawing laughter as she shared the vivid behind-the-scenes anecdote.
