Former Click-B’s Kim Sang Hyuk reveals shocking 11th floor fall story and DUI past while reflecting on his life
by Demian09 · allkpopKim Sang Hyuk, former member of the K-pop group Click-B and current television personality, has shared a surprising story about a childhood accident in which he fell from the 11th floor of an apartment building.
On April 10, Kim appeared on broadcaster Jang Sung Kyu’s YouTube channel manlee_jangsk in a video titled '[Emergency Press Conference] Click-B Kim Sang Hyuk Updates His Life.' During the episode, Jang Sung Kyu revealed that he and Kim were classmates in elementary school, and the two discussed their past together.
While talking about old memories, Jang mentioned that Kim had once fallen from an apartment building during childhood. Kim confirmed the incident and explained what he remembered, saying that he fell from the 11th floor but survived after branches helped break his fall and acted like a cushion.
Kim also shared various rumors he had heard about the accident, including stories that a Yakult delivery woman had warned him before the fall or that a beam of light had saved him. He spoke about the incident with humor, noting that people sometimes joked his speech style today is slightly clumsy because of the fall.
During the conversation, Jang Sung Kyu asked Kim a direct question comparing his childhood accident to a later controversy involving drunk driving in 2005, which caused him to pause his entertainment career. Kim responded that he does not remember the fall itself but expressed regret over his DUI incident. He also reflected on his career, saying he missed his peak period and that everything before that incident was his prime time.
The interview revealed both a dramatic childhood experience and Kim Sang Hyuk’s honest reflections on his past, combining humor with moments of regret.
