ILLIT sells out entire Japan tour ahead of ‘It’s Me’ craze
by K-Soul · allkpopILLIT has proven its popularity in Japan once again, with every stop on the group’s upcoming Japan tour officially sold out.
On June 2, agency BELIFT LAB announced, “All reserved seating tickets for ILLIT’s live tour ‘PRESS START IN JAPAN’ have sold out.”
The group successfully sold out all 11 shows on the tour. Due to overwhelming demand, the agency added that limited-view seats and standing tickets for select concerts will be opened for additional sales.
ILLIT has consistently demonstrated strong ticket power since their debut. The group’s Seoul concerts held in March also sold out entirely during the fan club pre-sale period, while their fan concert events were likewise fully booked.
‘PRESS START’ marks ILLIT’s first solo tour since their debut. The tour will visit seven cities worldwide, beginning in Seoul and continuing through Hong Kong and Japan.
The group will perform in Aichi on June 13 and 14, followed by Osaka on June 20 and 21, Fukuoka on June 29 and 30, Hyogo on July 18 and 19, and Tokyo on July 23, 25, and 26.
Meanwhile, ILLIT has recently been gaining attention for their latest track, "It's Me," which sparked a techno craze among listeners. The song ranked No. 5 on Melon’s monthly chart for May.
