Moon Geun Young reveals marriage to musical actor Jung Pyeong

Actress Moon Geun Young revealed on July 29 that she has married musical actor Jung Pyeong, who is seven years her senior.

The actress shared the news through a handwritten letter posted on her social media. "I have gotten married. I met someone I want to walk alongside through life, someone with whom I can share the moments I once faced alone," she wrote. She added, "Please offer us encouragement rather than worry, and I will live even more diligently in return."

Her agency Cree Company confirmed the news, stating that the two developed from fellow actors into a couple and recently held a private wedding.

Jung Pyeong, born in 1980, debuted in 2007 with the musical 'Footloose' and has appeared in productions including 'Radio Star' and 'Aida.' He also worked with Moon Geun Young in Bachi, the creative collective she leads.

Moon Geun Young debuted in 1999 and rose to fame through 'Autumn in My Heart,' 'A Tale of Two Sisters,' 'Innocent Steps,' and 'The Throne.' She recently returned to the stage in the play 'Orphans' and appeared on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block.'
