Taeyeon has once again demonstrated her digital music power, with her latest release climbing to the top of South Korea's major streaming charts.

Taeyeon released "The First J-Pop Remake Project – Bansanka" through major music platforms at 6 PM KST on June 29.

The song debuted at No. 2 on the Bugs real-time chart on its first day before rising to No. 1 on July 1. It also claimed the top spot on the platform's daily chart.

On Melon, the track reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart for songs released within the last 30 days. It also ranked No. 5 on the Hot 100 chart for songs released within the past 100 days and climbed to No. 13 on Melon's overall Top 100 chart.

The accompanying music video has also attracted significant attention. RESCENE members Woni and Minami portray two girls with contrasting emotions, helping the video reach No. 1 on South Korea's trending videos chart.

"Bansanka" is a remake of a track originally released by Japanese singer-songwriter Tuki. Taeyeon reinterprets the song with her signature rich vocals and emotional delivery.

The release is part of the 'J-Pop Remake Project,' a music initiative in which Korean artists reimagine beloved Japanese songs with a fresh artistic perspective.
