TXT Earns Platinum Certification in Japan as Latest Mini Album Surpasses 250,000 Copies

According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, TXT received a Platinum certification for their eighth mini album, '7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns.'
The Platinum certification is one of the nine certification categories recognized by the association and is awarded to albums that surpass 250,000 copies in cumulative shipments.
This marks the group’s 16th Gold Disc certification in Japan. Their single album 'CHIKAI' previously achieved Triple Platinum status after exceeding 750,000 copies shipped.
Four of the group’s releases have also earned Double Platinum certifications for surpassing 500,000 copies, including 'The Star Chapter: Together,' 'STARKISSED,' 'SWEET,' and 'Good Boy Gone Bad.'
Several other albums have received Platinum certifications as well, including 'The Star Chapter: Sanctuary,' 'The Name Chapter: FREEFALL,' 'The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,' and 'Chaotic Wonderland.'
The new mini album also topped Oricon’s Weekly Combined Album Ranking and Weekly Album Ranking. With the achievement, the group tied the record for the most No. 1 placements on the Weekly Combined Album Ranking with 14 chart-topping albums.
Meanwhile, TXT will hold their special concert, '2026 TXT MOA CON,' in Aichi, Japan, on May 23 and 24 to celebrate the seventh anniversary of their debut.
