Lee Mu Jin has reportedly filed an injunction against his agency seeking to suspend the validity of his exclusive contract.

According to industry sources on May 27 KST, Lee Mu Jin earlier this month filed a lawsuit against Big Planet Made Entertainment requesting the suspension of his exclusive contract. The reported reason behind the legal action was delayed settlement payments over a certain period of time.

The court is scheduled to hold a hearing on the injunction request later in the day. Lee Mu Jin is also said to have notified the company of his intention to terminate the exclusive contract back in March.

Lee Mu Jin rose to fame after finishing third on JTBC’s 'Sing Again Season 1' in 2021 and later established himself as a strong digital music performer. He signed with Big Planet Made in February 2022.

Meanwhile, several artists affiliated with Big Planet Made and its parent company One Hundred have recently parted ways with the labels. Artists including Taemin and Lee Seung Gi have already transferred to new agencies.

In addition, the injunction filed by THE BOYZ against One Hundred seeking suspension of their exclusive contracts was recently granted by the court.
