Director Park Chan Wook's film 'No Other Choice' returned with an extended edition featuring 19 minutes of additional footage.

Distributor CJ ENM announced on July 16 that 'No Other Choice: Extended Edition' became available through IPTV, digital cable TV, and online and mobile VOD services starting that day.

The extended edition runs 157 minutes, adding 19 minutes to the original theatrical runtime of 138 minutes. The new version includes previously unseen scenes that further explore the relationships between the characters and their emotional development.

Among the newly added sequences are scenes featuring Man Soo (played by Lee Byung Hun) and Mi Ri (played by Son Ye Jin) after leaving a cello practice room, everyday moments with Ri Won (played by Choi So Yul), and a new episode set at Jin Ho's (played by Yoo Yeon Seok) dental clinic.

Several key scenes have also been expanded, including moments at the job training center, the family's daily life, the relationship between Man Soo and Mi Ri, and the aftermath of the central incident. Some scenes feature revised dialogue not included in the theatrical release.

A representative said, "The extended edition will offer audiences who have already seen the film a chance to discover something new, while those watching for the first time can experience an even richer version of the story."

'No Other Choice' follows office worker Man Soo, who is suddenly laid off from his job and prepares for his own battle to secure new employment.
