Seventeen's The8 is set to share another self-composed song capturing the bittersweet emotions of a breakup.

Pledis Entertainment announced on April 30, "The8 will release his self-composed digital single 'Love Is Gone' (不见了) on May 1st at 1:00 AM."

"Love Is Gone" is a track that expresses the poignant feelings of parting through the uniquely exaggerated textures of Hyperpop. The8 wrote the lyrics solo and also participated in the composition.

The lyrics depict the internal cracks and lingering traces that remain after letting go of a loved one. His raw vocals harmonize with the track to amplify the sense of loneliness.

This release showcases a musical style distinct from The8's previous solo works, proving his ever-expanding creative spectrum.

Previously, on April 1st, he released another self-composed track titled "April Draft" (四月的漂流), which compared the process of love and heartbreak to the changing seasons.

Meanwhile, The8 is scheduled to perform as a headliner at the "Mido Music Festival" held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, from May 1st to 2nd.
