Ivy reacts calmly and wittily to online hate over her appearance at age 43

Singer Ivy responded coolly to malicious comments criticizing her appearance.

On May 2, Ivy shared a cheerful video she filmed with an American friend, captioning it, “A legendary incident has occurred.” In the video, she caught attention with her bright and witty personality.

However, the comment section under the video included several rude remarks about her appearance, which sparked criticism. One netizen left a comment along the lines of, “Why does your face look like that?” to which Ivy calmly replied, “Because I’ve gotten older,” drawing attention for her composed response.

When another user criticized the behavior, saying, “Please stop commenting on appearance,” Ivy responded playfully, “(There’s a saying that) celebrities ‘die’ if they don’t get comments about their appearance and age. Even top-tier beautiful celebrities get this too… what am I supposed to do? lol I guess I just have to be criticized,” showing her witty and unfazed attitude.

Fans have since been sending supportive messages, praising her honest and relaxed response.

Meanwhile, Ivy, who is active as both a singer and musical actress, is currently appearing as a judge on MBN trot survival show 'Legend of the Nameless.'
