SM Entertainment’s ScreaM Records heads to Europe with ‘K-POP ScreaM UK & EU Tour’ and new remix EP
by K-Soul · allkpopFollowing its successful North American run earlier this year, SM Entertainment’s electronic dance label ScreaM Records is officially bringing its ‘K-POP ScreaM’ project to Europe.
This June, ScreaM Records will launch the ‘K-POP ScreaM UK & EU Tour,’ marking the label’s third major overseas tour and its first large-scale expansion into Europe’s electronic music scene.
Ahead of the tour, ScreaM Records also released its new compilation EP, ‘K-POP ScreaM 3,’ on May 27. The remix project reinterprets hit songs by SM artists across various electronic genres, including hard house, tech house, jungle, and Jersey Club.
The tour will officially begin on June 2 at London’s XOYO as part of SXSW London. After previously participating in the global cultural festival last year, ScreaM Records returns with a renewed focus on blending K-pop with international dance music culture.
Throughout June, the label’s DJs will perform across major cities including London, Sheffield, Brighton, Barcelona, and Cologne. In London, the team is also set to appear at venues including Greyhound and E-1.
In addition to club performances, ScreaM Records will collaborate with local music communities through live radio appearances on UK independent stations, including Planet Wax, Loose FM, and MOT Radio. The tour will also include networking sessions with global electronic music companies, including Anjuna Beats and Armada Music Group.
The tour lineup features IMLAY, 2Spade, Arkins, and guest artist Yunji, who will perform in different combinations depending on the city and venue.
IMLAY is known for blending Eastern-inspired melodies with future bass and pop production, while also producing tracks for artists including NCT, EXO, SHINee, and aespa. He recently launched his house-focused DJ project ‘Citron Studio’ under the name DJ Jaebin.
2Spade has gained recognition in Korea’s dance music scene for combining hip-hop and electronic sounds. His HDM (Hip-Hop Dance Music) style has also drawn support from international DJs including DJ Snake, Flosstradamus, and 4B.
Arkins, the newest addition to ScreaM Records, has built a strong following through festival performances and social media content. His remix of RIIZE’s “Boom Boom Bass” previously gained attention online through a viral challenge trend.
Guest artist Yunji is a Seoul-based DJ influenced by UK electronic genres such as breakbeat, garage, and dub. She has previously toured across North America and Europe.
Meanwhile, ‘K-POP ScreaM 3’ includes four tracks:
“Sticky (yunji Remix)” — A jungle-inspired remix that combines layered drum patterns with the original song’s bossa nova mood.
“poppop (Arkins Remix)” — A hard house reinterpretation of NCT WISH’s title track.
“Bag Bad Back (IMLAY Remix)” — A tech house remix of RIIZE’s hip-hop track featuring dark bass-driven production.
“Impossible (2Spade Remix)” — A bass-heavy Jersey Club-inspired remix with energetic synth arrangements.
Established in 2016 under SM Entertainment, ScreaM Records focuses on electronic music production and K-pop remix projects. Through initiatives including the ‘iScreaM’ remix series and the ‘K-POP ScreaM’ tour brand, the label continues to expand its presence within the global dance music scene.
