The Wind’s Kim Heesoo temporarily halts activities due to health concerns

Kim Heesoo of The Wind will temporarily suspend activities due to health concerns.

On May 6 KST, Fang Star Entertainment released an official statement announcing that Kim Heesoo had been receiving ongoing treatment at a medical institution after experiencing symptoms of anxiety.

According to the agency, medical professionals advised that the artist requires sufficient rest and recovery for the time being, leading to the decision for him to temporarily halt activities.

The company explained, “We continued activities while consistently monitoring the artist’s health condition, but ultimately concluded that recovery must be prioritized above all else.”

As a result, The Wind will continue promotions as a five-member group for the foreseeable future. The agency asked fans for understanding regarding the situation.

Fang Star Entertainment also stated that it will do its best to support Kim Heesoo’s recovery through adequate rest and treatment.

The Wind originally debuted in 2023 under With US Entertainment and recently entered a collaboration partnership with Fang Star Entertainment on April 22.
