ALPHA DRIVE ONE captivated Japanese fans with a completely different charm at KCON JAPAN 2026.

The rookie group attended the event held at Makuhari Messe from May 8 to 10 and opened the 'M Countdown' stage on May 9 with a performance of "Beautiful" by Wanna One.

Unlike the group’s previously showcased powerful performances, the stage highlighted a more emotional and sentimental atmosphere, further proving ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s wide concept spectrum.

The group also gained attention with a choreography practice video featuring refreshing styling, earning praise from fans who commented that the members could “pull off any genre perfectly.”

During the event, ALPHA DRIVE ONE received significant attention from Japanese media outlets, solidifying its growing reputation as a rising global rookie act. Local television programs and magazines highlighted not only the group’s stage performances but also the impressive impact of its debut album, which reportedly became a million-seller on the first day of release in January.

The members additionally shared behind-the-scenes stories about collaborating with JO1 during local interviews while expressing gratitude toward fans.

Following the successful overseas schedule, ALPHA DRIVE ONE is set to continue its busy activities with the release of its prologue single 'No School Tomorrow' on May 26, followed by its first fan-con tour 'STAR ROAD' and a second mini album scheduled for August.
