CLOSE YOUR EYES lands exclusive Japanese documentary series

CLOSE YOUR EYES is rapidly expanding its influence in Japan with the launch of a new documentary series. Their agency, Uncore, announced on March 13, 2026, that the major Japanese OTT platform ABEMA will exclusively broadcast '[Behind] CLOSE YOUR EYES 1ST TOUR 'BEYOND YOUR EYES' in JAPAN' every Thursday starting March 19. The series provides an intimate look at the group’s first Japanese tour, which took place in February across Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, capturing everything from powerful stage performances to behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage and the natural chemistry between the seven members.

Beyond the concert highlights, the documentary promises a variety of entertaining segments designed to showcase the members' diverse charms to the Japanese audience. Fans can look forward to seeing the group review local cuisine in Nagoya, engage in a tense and suspicious game of Mafia, and struggle to avoid the "ultimate cooling" foot massage penalty. By blending high-stakes performance footage with these lighthearted variety-style moments, the program aims to further solidify the group’s rapidly growing local fandom.

CLOSE YOUR EYES was formed through the JTBC survival program 'Project 7', which aired from October to December 2024. Since their official debut on April 2, 2025, the group has set remarkable records, including winning first place on SBS funE's 'The Show' only seven days after their debut. They also secured a win on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' just ten days into their career, marking the fastest terrestrial music show win for any boy group that debuted in the 2020s. Following the success of their Japanese tour, the group is set to continue their global journey with an upcoming performance in Moscow, Russia, on April 11, followed by a tour through Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver in Canada.
