Shinji marries Moon Won today in Seoul, overcoming controversy in private ceremony

Koyote member Shinji has married singer Moon Won on May 2, marking a new beginning after overcoming public controversy surrounding their relationship.

The couple held a private wedding ceremony at the Raum Art Center in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, attended by close family and friends. Comedian Moon Se Yoon hosted the event, while singer Baek Ji Young, a close friend of Shinji, delivered a congratulatory performance.

Shinji and Moon Won first met in 2024 on MBC Standard FM’s Singlbungl Show, where they appeared as DJ and guest. Their relationship later developed into romance, and they became a couple that same year. In June of the following year, their wedding photoshoot became public, after which Shinji personally confirmed the marriage through social media.

During the wedding preparations, the couple faced public scrutiny over allegations related to Moon Won’s past, including his previous marriage. Shinji’s side firmly denied the claims, describing them as groundless. Despite the controversy, Shinji expressed that the experience strengthened their trust and relationship.

The couple has already begun living together and has shared glimpses of their married life through KBS2’s 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant.' They are also expected to reveal more of their wedding journey on MBN’s 'Other People's Precious Family.'

They plan to postpone their honeymoon for now and continue focusing on their careers.
