Lezhin Entertainment’s original short-form drama platform Lezhin Snack has unveiled the GL (Girl Love) short drama 'White Angel Has No Wing: Fallen Angel,' a dark and distinctive series where innocence and cruelty coexist. Following its release, the drama quickly became a hot topic among viewers, rising to No. 1 on the platform’s popularity rankings.

Released on May 14 through Lezhin Snack, 'White Angel Has No Wing: Fallen Angel' follows Ah Yeon, a student isolated by severe bullying at school, whose lonely life begins to change when her classmate Yeon Hwa approaches her. Although Ah Yeon initially feels grateful toward Yeon Hwa, she soon discovers a chilling side to her classmate that suggests hidden motives, sending the story in an unpredictable direction.

The series is based on the GL webtoon 'White Angel Has No Wing' by Ga Do, a popular IP that remained in Lezhin Comics’ all-ages GL Top 10 rankings from 2016 through 2021. Director Shim Hyung Joon, known for the film 'My Dearest Fu Bao' as well as his photography and music video work, directed the adaptation, transforming the original into a visually refined and emotionally charged GL short drama.

Since all episodes were released on May 14, the drama has drawn explosive reactions and praise from viewers, quickly taking over the platform’s No. 1 spot. The project’s unique atmosphere — blending purity with psychological cruelty — alongside standout performances from Han Jae In, Jo Chae Yoon, Yang Ah Reum, Jo Eun Seo, and Jung Yoo Min is expected to keep the series’ momentum going.

The four exclusive stills released through allkpop capture the striking blonde visuals of Yeon Hwa alongside Ah Yeon’s isolated presence in the classroom. The images highlight Yeon Hwa’s unreadable gaze directed toward Ah Yeon, Ah Yeon surrounded by the students tormenting her, and the tense moments between the two girls as their relationship gradually changes, further heightening anticipation for the story’s development.
