In recent months, Ahn Hyo Seop has expanded his presence on the global stage through a variety of high-profile activities. He gained international attention for his voice acting role as “Jinu,” the leader of Saja Boys, in the Netflix animated series 'KPop Demon Hunters.' The series has contributed to his rising popularity both in Korea and abroad.
Beyond entertainment, Ahn has also been seen at major international events such as the 'Academy Awards' and the 'Met Gala,' further solidifying his global profile. He is also currently appearing in the SBS drama 'Sold Out on You,' continuing to diversify his acting portfolio while expanding into music collaborations.
For Khalid, this project marks his first official single collaboration with a Korean artist. Known for global hits such as “Location,” “Talk,” and “Better,” Khalid has established himself as one of the leading voices in contemporary R&B.
The collaboration is being carried out under a partnership involving Korean music platform Musicow and the entertainment company Roc Nation, founded by Jay-Z and home to global artists including Rihanna, Shakira, and J. Cole.
With “Something Special,” both artists aim to bridge markets and audiences, reflecting the growing momentum of cross-border collaborations in the global music industry.
