Lee Jong Suk gifts luxury necklace to his stylist in heartwarming Italy trip moment

On June 4, a video titled 'Lee Jong Suk’s Romantic Journey in Italy Part 2' was uploaded to his YouTube channel, showing the actor traveling through Florence, Italy.
After completing a fashion shoot schedule, Lee Jong Suk took a walk through the streets of Florence. While heading out for gelato, he came across a baby clothing store. Thinking of his nieces and friends’ children, he began picking out gifts. “There have been many babies born around me recently,” he said. “I want to buy something for this child and that child as well.” He eventually purchased several outfits, earning him the playful nickname “the big spender of Florence” from the production crew.
Later, Lee Jong Suk returned to an accessory store that a staff member had shown interest in the day before. Noticing his stylist’s attention toward a necklace, he decided to take a closer look. He initially misunderstood the price, thinking it was relatively affordable, but later realized the actual cost was much higher.
The price tag read 1,380 euros (approximately 1,590 USD), and the actor appeared visibly surprised. The item, which had increased in value due to rising gold prices and featured diamonds and emeralds, was far more expensive than expected.
After a brief hesitation, he decided to purchase it. However, an unexpected issue arose when his credit card payment was declined due to suspected overseas fraud. “I couldn’t buy the necklace,” he said with disappointment. After contacting his bank to resolve the issue, he returned to the store and completed the payment on his second attempt. Smiling, he remarked, “Buying gifts isn’t easy.”
At a later dinner, Lee Jong Suk personally handed the gift box to his stylist, saying, “This is something I prepared for you.” The stylist was deeply moved, sharing that she had previously lost a similar necklace that had been a meaningful gift from her father.
Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk also opened up about his acting aspirations. “These days, before I get older, I want to try things I haven’t done yet,” he said. “I want to do a historical drama. I’ve always wanted to play a king at least once.”
