Ahead of the release of their 8th full-length album 'REVERXE' on January 19 KST, EXO drew attention by unveiling a cinematic trailer based on their overarching universe storyline. On EXO’s official social media channels, short-form content and universe-related images themed around the black cloak group were released sequentially, adding to the fun of interpreting their meaning.
On December 29th KST, EXO also shared a “mystery deduction quiz” via their official X account to help fans better understand the universe storyline behind 'REVERXE'.
