Onew releases album preview teaser for 5th EP [TOUGH LOVE]

On February 26, Onew released the album preview teaser for his 5th EP, [TOUGH LOVE], spotlighting the title track of the same name. 

Onew not only contributed to the lyrics and composition of “TOUGH LOVE” but also collaborated closely with renowned international producers, enhancing the track’s overall quality. This creative process underscores the global expansion of his musical horizons.

The EP also highlights Onew’s evolution as a producer. From the title track “TOUGH LOVE” to “Dot dot dot (...),” “Flex on Me,” “Lie,” and “X, Oh Why?,” he participated in the credits of all five songs, taking on dual roles as both artist and producer. Each track reflects his signature sensibilities and delicate emotional nuances.

The love story conveyed in “TOUGH LOVE” continues the musical universe Onew has been building while also marking a new chapter in his artistic journey. Rather than sticking to familiar expressions, he expanded the emotional and sonic range of the album through composition involvement and global collaborations.

Onew’s 5th EP [TOUGH LOVE] will be released on March 9 at 6 PM KST across all major music platforms.
