Ji Ye Eun reveals she does her own makeup for most broadcast appearances

Ji Ye Eun revealed that she does her own makeup instead of going to a beauty shop because of the high cost, explaining that she is already preparing financially for retirement.

On May 22, Ji Suk Jin posted a new video titled “Ji Ye Eun Dedicated Her Life to Comedy” on his YouTube channel Jeeseokjin World.

During the episode, Ji Ye Eun shared that she did her makeup herself that day, adding, “I’m not very good at styling my hair, so I just tied it up.” She also revealed that she often does her own makeup even while filming SNL Korea.

“There are so many people, and the makeup team is extremely busy,” she explained. “Most of the time, I just do my makeup alone in the waiting room.”

Ji Suk Jin then asked, “Don’t actresses usually have stylists come from beauty shops?”

Ji Ye Eun replied, “It’s expensive, so I have to save money. Little by little, it adds up. Even those costs should be saved. It’s even more expensive if you go to the shop in the morning.”

Later in the conversation, Ji Suk Jin asked what she was saving money for. Ji Ye Eun responded, “People say you have to start preparing for retirement early. Young people these days start early. You never know if you’ll be able to have a long career in the entertainment industry or when work might suddenly stop coming in.”
